Grief Share brings together people who have lost loved ones and takes them through the mourning and healing process together, with a biblical foundation. It is an opportunity for people to share their feelings in a safe place and to encourage one another that there is light, even through the darkness and that through it all, God never leaves our side. Similarly, the Care Givers class is a place for people who are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or dementia. While different from a death, it is still a loss, and Roy Switzer has graciously begun a class to help encourage and offer support for those embarking on this uncertain journey. It offers a safe place to discuss frustrations and to offer reassurance, as well as practical advice.
GriefShare will be meeting on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8pm in Room 201 starting January 17th.
Caregivers will be meeting on Tuesday afternoons from 2-3:30pm in Room 201 starting January 17th.
