Pastors Paragraph
We began this year with a new plan and a new budget to help support that plan. God has been doing some amazing things! In the last two weeks we have seen 7 of our children make a 1st time commitment to Jesus! How exciting it is to see lives changed! We have seen over 130 different children come to our ministry since September. We have also seen God bring many new families to our church over the last couple of months. Our Spanish ministry is having services on Sunday mornings up in the youth room now. How great to see people come and get excited about what God is doing in this place! We have seen people join in some of our groups and have seen some new ministry begin as well. By the end of this month we will have a time to celebrate how God is reaching many people around the world through the ministries that we support. As we move into this month we celebrate how Jesus gave His life to pay the price for our sin and then how He came to life on that 3rd day to prove to all that He is the very Son of God. May we see this Jesus is still changing lives today! In the book, “Not Your Parents Offering Plate,” Clif Christopher tells of a friend who regularly supported the church. God blessed him in his business and he said to his friend, “Clif, God has been good to me. I created and led a very successful business that once I sold it, left my wife and I with a lot of money. I felt it was incumbent upon me to give that money in ways that would influence lives and make God’s world a better place.” He visited the college where the president told him of all the great things that were going on and he chose to give that money to the college. Clif asked him why he did not give it to the church. He said he wanted to give the money to where he felt lives would be changed so he gave it to the college. Please hear me when I say that lives are being changed here at Pennway, changed for all time. I am very excited to not only be a part of this ministry, but also to support it with my finances. God is at work!

In His Service,
Pastor John
